The hibiscus scrub can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment and it is suitable for all hair types.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon hibiscus powder
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 3 tbsps hibiscus h air mask
- 1 egg ( use the yolk only)
- Hibiscus hair mask
Method
- Rinse 1 tablespoon hibiscus powder with 2 tablespoons of warm water until the hibiscus power dissolves well.
- Add 2 eggs (Yolk) and 1 teaspoon of avocado oil or olive oil.
- Mix them together until you get a creamy paste.
- Apply this hibiscus egg mask on your hair from root to tip and leave it for 10 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.
2) Hibiscus Hair Mask with Coconut oil
This is my second favorite hibiscus hair mask because of its effectiveness and coconut oil gives additional benefits such as nourishing dry hair and promoting hair growth. You may add eggs to this as well. The hibiscus mask can be used as a deep conditioner or hair treatment for all types of hair.
Ingredients:
- tablespoon hibiscus powder
- tablespoons coconut oil
- tablespoons olive oil
- eggs ( yolk) 1 teaspoon honey
Method
- To prepare hibiscus h air mask heat up olive oil until it liquefies.
- Add hibiscus powder and mix them well until the hibiscus powder dissolves in the olive oil mixture.
- Transfer it into a bowl and add remaining ingredients and mix together with a spoon or whisk until you get a creamy texture ( or fluffier if you prefer).
- Apply this hibiscus hair mask on your hair from root to tip and leave for 20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.
- Hibiscus Herbal Hair Mask (h3)
This is an herbal hibiscus mask that you may add hibiscus powder. It can be used as a hair mask or hair conditioner for all hair types but hibiscus hair masks with egg and olive oil are more effective.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of fresh aloe Vera juice
- 2 tablespoons liquid honey
- 2 tablespoon s hibiscus powder
- 1 teaspoon jojoba oil
- 3 teaspoons gelatin ( dry)
Method
- To prepare hibiscus h air mask mix gelatin with some cold water to dissolve into a gel-like substance then remove it from heat.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend them well until get a consistent texture.
- Transfer the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze it overnight or until frozen.
- Remove hibiscus hair mask from ice cube trays and store in the freezer or refrigerator.
- To use, thaw hibiscus h air mask a little and apply it on your hair from root to tip as a hair mask or deep conditioner for 20-25 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.
4) Hibiscus Hair Mask with Henna Powder
If you don’t want to mix hibiscus powder with eggs or coconut oil, this hibiscus hair mask is best for you because henna powder gives additional benefits such as nourishing dry hair. You may add some avocado and egg yolk but these ingredients give no additional benefits. The hibiscus hair mask can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment and it is suitable for all hair types.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons hibiscus hair powder ( store in the freezer )
- 1 tablespoon henna powder
- 4 teaspoons gelatin ( dry)
- 3 tbsps honey
- 1 tablespoon orange juice ( fresh squeezed)
- ½ cup water
